Eleri - the Workshop Facilitator

Today, we meet Eleri, originally from Georgetown, Kentucky, now living in Belfast and working as a Workshop Facilitator at Fighting Words NI. She describes herself as a storyteller, friend, and enthusiast—always eager to connect through words and ideas.
Her secret skill? She can sing the harmony to any song, effortlessly picking out the notes that bring a melody to life.
A pivotal moment in her life came during college when she interviewed a woman about her life story. That experience sparked her passion for storytelling, setting her on a path to explore how stories can empower, connect, and create change.
Eleri’s mindfulness practice and faith influence how she sees the world, helping her find inspiration in the small, everyday moments. She feels most alive in nature—whether it’s sunlight filtering through trees, the sound of a bubbling stream, or birdsong in the background, green spaces always leave her feeling recharged.
For her, success is about loving people well and always growing. Her advice? “Find joy in simplicity—every day brings new chances to experience something wonderful.”
As she continues to settle into Belfast, her hope is to get to know the city better and truly feel at home here.
