Meet Will and Sophie, originally from Leeds and Grantham, now building their lives together in Belfast with their baby son, Alfie. Will works as an Account Manager for a software company, while Sophie dedicates her time to the charity sector.

Sophie describes herself as kind, sensitive, and industrious, while Will sees himself as creative, laid-back, and gentle—a balance of personalities that seems to really work.

Between them, they have some interesting claims to fame. Will can trace a family connection to singer-songwriter PJ Harvey, while Sophie once met Jeff Goldblum on holiday but, to her eternal regret, failed to recognise him at the time.

For Will, a pivotal moment came at 18, when he set off solo backpacking—an experience that shaped his independence and outlook on the world. His biggest challenge? Being a musician during COVID. With live gigs on hold, he had to pivot, stepping away from music to take what he calls a “real job.”

Sophie believes that happiness comes when your actions and values align, while for Will, success is simple: if you’re happy, you’ve already won.
